Upon completion, participants may receive certificates verifying their proficiency in the skills taught.
Do you offer in-person classes?+
Yes, we currently offer in-person classes in Denver, CO. We offer our signature on-site Call.Push.Shock.™ program which is free, and other certification courses via Red Cross for a discounted fee.
What is sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and how is it different from a heart attack?+
Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is when the heart suddenly stops beating due to electrical malfunction, leading to loss of consciousness and cessation of breathing, requiring immediate intervention with CPR and defibrillation. A heart attack, or myocardial infarction, occurs when blood flow to the heart is blocked, causing damage to the heart muscle and presenting symptoms like chest pain and shortness of breath. While a heart attack can sometimes lead to SCA, they are distinct conditions with different causes and symptoms.
